I side with Fla Bob-Pete! A scout report card? What happened to the sit down face to face discussion with our scouts on how things are going, what needs to be changed both from his (her) persepective and ours as leaders. I guess if you want to do something formal like actually handing out a report card and have the time to do it, congratulations. I would rather spend the time putting together a program that delivers the promise. I remember that my Scoutmaster (and role model) Alan Ebersole of Scotch Plains NJ never had to send home a report on any of his scouts. We always knew where we stood with him because he took the time to talk to each one of us individually.
