As a scouter and a homeschooler, I had to throw my $.02 into the discussion!
You can go to a site called Homeschool Legal Defense Association
www.hslda.org which will give you a list of all the state organizations.
You can then contact the state organization which will, in turn, refer you
to local support groups. After that, it's simply a matter of contacting the
person in charge of the individual support groups in your area. Hope that
