Our District wants to do some "Scouting Games" and competition for our Fall
Camporee. We thought about having the scouts count off 1-10. All of the 1's
will be a team, all of the 2's would be a team, etc. That way, scouts from
the same troop will not be on the same team. It would force the boys to meet
new scouting friends. And would hopefully teach them to work together as a
team. Is there anyone on the list that can help me with this? What kind of
games should we do? We thought about doing some scouting skill type of games
and also some fun, picnic type of games.
In your experience, do the scouts enjoy a camporee like this?
I appreciate any help that the list can offer me.
BTW, our district did an Aviation Spring Camporee and the scouts LOVED it!!
I would highly recommend that you try this.
