Me, I'm all for multi-colored epaulets. The stripes would tell the world
which programs you are currently active in, and might increase your
credibility.

When I first bought my leaders shirt (at the request of my son) I did not
have a "position" in our pack <<except that of a Tiger Cub Partner/Leader>>.
I went out and bought a foot of tiger striped ribbon from a craft store
and sewed my own epaulets. Everyone thought that a great idea as Tiger "are
but aren't Cub Scouts" who wear the blue epaulets. I have since retired
those and am now trying to find tan velcro for easy removal of my 'Office'
patches (I currently hold 3).
