I would think your arrangement is more typical than off the
wall. Observing at local Council and district events:
Most troops seem to own 1 or more "Chuck Boxes" with cooking
gear
About 50% of troops own patrol dining flys
About 25% of troops provide troop-owned tents
0% of troops furnish sleeping bags, packs, cots and other
"personal gear"
What have others on the list observed?
BTW, I like the idea of "toop tents" in spite of the
maintenance headaches. Maybe I just like that "military
encampment look" thing :-)
