Our Wood Badge menu called this "Overnight Omelette", but it seems more
souffle-like to me.
While cooking dinner, cook 1 lb. sausage (I like Bob Evans, a 50/50 mix of
"Hot" & "Savory Sage". Drain.
While sausage is cooking, line dutch oven with foil (for ease of cleanup -
trust me on this one).
Lightly beat 1 doz. eggs, adding 1 lb. shredded sharp cheddar cheese. I like
too add onion, as well. Stir in sausage.
Shred 1/2 loaf of whole wheat bread, putting it in D.O. Pour
egg/cheese/sausage mix over bread. Cover & let stand overnight.
Cook app. 45 min. Eat, smile, feel your arteries clogging.
