But, I believe what Auntie was trying to point out was that there some
barriers which are one-way gates.

It does not seem "right" that a BOY SCOUT may compete against a CUB Scout
in an event which is part of the CUB program.

Now, if, as Patrick suggests, the situation is that the Boy Scouts
race in a non-Cub heat against other non-Cubs, that's entirely different
and I doubt anyone has a problem with that.
