Hi Scouters!
Can anyone out there use some of the BSA's "Take A Stand Against Drugs!"
pamphlets?? These are the materials used in support of meeting the
requirement for the Fitness WEBELOS Activity Badge as well as part of the
materials for the Crime Prevention Award.
I've got a limited (as in less than 100) of the handouts and would be happy
to send them to Scouters whom can use them. All I ask is that you share
them with Cub Scouts and WEBELOS Cub Scouts in your units, and not to
"retain them" yourselves.
They were sent to me courtesy of the BSA's Drug Abuse Prevention Task Force,
and I also have a few of the order forms for other materials as well, which
I'll scan and post to Leaders' Online(tm) as well as to forward to Paul Wolf
for posting on the US Scouting Service Project (USSSP)'s website.
The BSA Drug Abuse Task Force wouldn't allow me to scan the entire booklet
and post it to the World Wide Web, so I asked for some copies that I can
provide to Scouters whom ask, which they were happy to help out with.
Please post me PRIVATELY and tell me how many you/your unit needs (please be
considerate!) and give me a mailing address to mail them to. I'll get them
out in the mail toward the end of this coming week.
If you are having problems finding this publication, ask your Council to get
them from the BSA's Drug Abuse Task Force. Every Council gets a stack
drop-shipped to them and additional copies are sent upon request (at the
Council's cost; a stack of 100 cost $20.00)
Settummanque!
