What a refreshing attitude...
...unfortunately, one which is not shared by enough people these days (at
least not in my neck of the woods). I've taken flak for having the boys
sing "Rudolph the Reindeer" at December pack meetings, putatively because
it is offensive to Jews; and also taken flak for *not* having them sing
"Hark the Herald Angels", putatively because it is a slight to Christians.
You can't win. You just can't win.
So, when it comes to giving thanks before a meal, I'll stick to the
carefully-sanitized, lawyer-approved prayers.
