Jim you might check with your state Department of Conservation. Ours
has kits you can check out (or have mailed out depending on how far
away you are from a local office) and use. The kits cover a wide range
of interesting info from purely informative (videos, books, etc.) to a
more hands on experience ( animal skins, rubber animal tracks, rock
specimens and many more really cool items!)
