I have found the best way to avoid this (at least for me) is to
remind the Scout at the end of his Scoutmaster's Conference that he
is responsible for calling the Advancement Chairperson to let her
know he will need a BOR on the next scheduled date. I will then
follow up with him at the next meeting to insure he has made the
call. This way, we can insure all Scouts get their BOR and awards in
a timely fashion.
