Oh, dear. But, I'm afraid, for the rest of his life he WILL BE a "former
Scout leader." Just as Monica will be "the former White House Intern"

Terminology which no one outside Scouts "gets". In the popular culture,
it therefore doesn't exist. (Remember you're dealing with a US
population that reads at the 8th grade level on average.)

But how many of us would have even watched if they hadn't mentioned Boy
Scouts? HOW MANY OTHER PARENTS watched *ONLY* because they mentioned Boy
Scouts, and how many children _might_ benefit from those parents' having
been alerted to the possible dangers?
