The problem potentially with Aplh Phi Omega is that I could have handled
the pledge the first
semester but after that as a Comp Sci major, I had no time, at least
not the kind of time that pledging required. It seemed as if I was
starting all over again. I was at that point an Eagle Scout and a
Brotherhood OA member and I was suppost to start all over again to be
active in a fraternity that ties itself closely with scouts. I would
have rather worked as an ASM which I did some with my old trip in the
summers and breaks. Two years later I recieved the Vigil Honor. I could
participate in the college program of a local church or Campus Crusade
and give service. I did not need to join a fraternity.
