Well, I do have an opinion here! Nothing to do with uniform or legal
issues, mind you...here's what I use for hiking and camping -- a pair of
EMS Bergelene underpants...they are loose fitting, and polyester -- no more
'diaper' rash for me! Notice the emphasis on loose fitting -- I vote for
the boxer shorts! (Bill Clinton would be proud).

Thanks, Larry Blumberg, SM T102, Johnson City, NY

Subject: Next meaningless issue

Now that we have beaten to death and rendered totally absurd
the issue of when to wear hats lets launch down the road on
another issue of equal importance and having the same
potential to waste bandwidth. I am sure that those folks who
seem to revel in endless discussions on trivial issues will
jump in on this one. One of my scouts came to me and
asked what is the best kind of undershorts to wear when
camping and hiking...boxer shorts or jockey 'tightie whities'.
I told him I didn't care, just as long as he wore them. Ok all
you amature paralegals and nabobs of nitpicking, go to it!
