Hey Dave!

You wrote an explaination as to why I use the term "Council Scout Executive"
in my postings here:

>CE Council Executive (No Lie Mike some Councils do not call their
> Scout Executives a SE and it is on their letterhead.

The titles "Council Executive" and "Scout Executive" mean the same: the
senior-most professional member of the local Council and the administrator
of the Council's Scouting programs.

CE/SE therefore mean the same, although the title is a little different.

The difference in the two titles only deal with the amount of compensation
and responsibility given/granted to the executive by its Executive Board and
in line with National compensation guidances.

Generally, Council Executives get paid less than Scout Executives and most
if not all Council Executives eventually leave those smaller Councils for
much larger Councils whereby they could serve as Scout Executive.

To avoid the confusion, I've used the term "Council Scout Executive" to
reflect both titles.

Settummanque!
