A word from our Council Executive.
Best Wishes,
Gary Apfelstadt
Prairielands Council, Champaign, IL
Wow, is that an interesting plan....but one with no merit. I was just at
our annual Scout Executive meeting and there was absolutely no mention
of changes in the training format and certainly nothing as dramatic as
this. I would be very shocked if we ever went away from personal
volunteer led training. There might be a time when you can access
training informaton off the internet but the responibility of directing
training will continue to be the held in the local council. I hope this
doesn't get too out of hand. Thanks for checking with me. Tim
