Hi WA-DanH

<A couple serves as Den Leaders for two dens in a pack. As
<husband and wife, can they be their own "two-deep?" I had
<one person suggest that the YPP says they can't, but I can't
<find that in any of my materials and references. Anybody
<know of a POLICY that says they can't?

I don't believe you will find anything due to the complexity
of all the situations that can result.

IMHO the decision in a particular case lies with the Troop,
Chartering Org, District, or Council leadership. Impressions or
Questionable behavior is all that I imagine would result in any
actions.

A few examples (That might need specific attention
1>A New Wed Couple a bit too touchy (OK Can still happen later
2>A couple that just doesn't seem to behave and makes the boys
or the adults uncomfortable.

A few examples (Needing very little other than applause
1>A Long term or Short term scouting couple that serve as examples
and are well respected by their Chartering Org, Troop, etc.

Separate Sleeping Quarters is the only thing I have ever seen
that is documented. Some troops don't follow this while many do.

As always call your Scout/Council Executive for a chat if the
situation merits.

YiS, IMHO, and may we each attempt to live the SO,SL,SS,SM
