Mike-
My Troop uses Thorns & Roses at the end of each
campout. It usually takes place after Chapel on Sunday
Mornings.
We clasp hands in a circle. Starting with the person
to the left of the SM, and moving clockwise, we each
tell what we least liked during the campout (Thorns)
and what we enjoyed the most (Roses). The SM is the
last to speak.
Thorns have included cold weather, burnt food, bad
attitudes, boring programs, etc. Roses have been
equally diverse.
It gives everyone a chance to speak their mind, clear
the air, and still remind themselves of the good that
they experienced.

Happy Scouting!
