My post was to simply note that there multiple other brothers (sisters) in
scouting out there in the world and yes Mike right here in the good ole USA.
There are other World organizations regardless of our understanding of there
need to exist or not. Scouting is in fact larger than the WOSM which I am
proud to be a member of. Like any large organization there are many
challenges. Much as with the BSA I don't agree with every thing they do or
say but I do support the program. By the way having helped support a
Scouting in Exile unit in the early 70s I can tell you I found them to be
wonderful scouts with a great program, I attempted to get Scouting mag. to
do a story on them but as I came to find out BSA does not support ANY
scouting in the USA that's not part of their organization (which I guess
they have the right to do) and that's what prompted my fourth point of the
scout law line in my last post ( the original B-P law would be a better
cite.)
