Rik,
One of the things that I manage to get into the "one hour a week" is
serving
as a Member of Committee for one troop (not where I'm Commissioner) and I've
had the privilege of serving on BORs. They're not "another final exam," but
rather a review of each boy's attitudes toward the Scouting program and what
his objectives are.
And even though the boys know all the adults conducting the BOR (we're
all active year-round), they're still apprehensive. Know any good ways to
make
them feel more at ease?
