bill shattuck disagreed with mike walton's description of WB as advanced
Scouter training.
mike is correct (as he most oftne is).
there are three levels of bsa training
fundamental
supplementary
advanced.
scoutmaster fundies, and cub scout leader basic training falll into the
first category.
round table (which is designed to be TRAINING, and not merely information
passing), commissioner training, and most training conducted at district or
council training event (called sometimes Scout-a-versity) consititue
supplemental training.
wood badge (until recently CSTWB and BSLWB) consititued advanced training.
that may now all change, but that's what national considers it.
