Re: 35 mm film canisters

Steve,

How about:
1. Hang canister from a lanyard and use to store keys and/or coins
while at the beach.
2. Suspend empty canisters by a string from a tree branch or pole to
scare birds out of garden or fruit trees.
3. Decorate canisters and use them in school lunch box/bag for milk
money.
4. Hot glue appropriate sized section of PVC pipe to canister to use
for neckerchief slide. Put a couple of fish hooks, some thin nylon line, a
couple of large needles, a couple wax coated wooden matches, a sealed packet
of pain reliever tablets, a couple bandaids, etc into it and call it an
emergency kit.
5. Put one or two small bells into a canister, glue some fake fur to
the outside of it, and use it for a cat toy.
6. Use some canisters to hold individual portions of glue, glitter,
paint, nails, tacks, beads, etc for Den craft projects.

Subject: 35 mm film canisters

I was given a garbage bag full of 35 mm film canisters. I'm looking for
ideas on how to put these to good use. I plan on making alka seltzer
rockets and mini first aid/blister kits, but still have hundereds left! any
suggestions?

P.S. I am aware that they are not made of food grade plastic.
