Re: 35 mm film canisters

Steve:

Here is a little craft that worked good the year I was a Wolf den
leader:

Use a hot glue gun to attach a craft stick to the bottom of the film
can. Also use the hot glue gun to glue one end of a piece of string
(experiment to find the appropriate length. I don't remember how
long we made ours) to the bottom side of the craft stick, directly
under the film can. Tie a marble sized wooden bead to the other end
of the string. Viola: one of those little "catch the ball in the
cup" games that can drive you nuts when you try 27 times to catch the
ball, and your 7 year old does it 5 times in a row ;-)

I think I got this out of the "Cub Scout Leader How To Book", but I
can't confirm that, as I loaned my copy out 3 years ago, and it
continues to make the rounds to this day.

Hope this helps...

YIS,
Jim Lohmann, Scoutmaster - Troop 295 Advnancement Chair -
