Accept your regalia that you earned from your course, this is part of your
course memory. If you like, purchase a Gilwell necker, they are very nice
in appearance.
I have my regalia from Cub Scout Trainers WB, SC-CS-5, Camp Strake, Houston
TX; Scout Leaders WB, SC-197, Slippery Falls Scout Ranch, Tishamingo OK; and
in 1992 when I accompanied 20 Scouts from Oklahoma and Texas to the West
Sussex 92 Camporee in England, I purchased a wool necker at Gilwell and was
presented a woggle by my British host. I wear them all from time to time.
The memories are what's important.
I may need to send off for a new Gilwell necker, something likes my wool
necker even better than I from the evidence of very small holes that seem to
be eaten into it. <(;-)
