Re: Further changes to Wood Badge?

I've got the same understanding...one WB for all.
I went thru WB as a Venturing (Exploring at the time) leader and found the
troop based program to be no problem. But then I had been a scoutmaster in
a former life. Another "green shirt" leader had just done Exploring...no
troop background. Threw her for a loop. The ticket threw us both. We
completed it...but not real straightforward because the "school solution"
for a Boy Scout WB ticket doesn't match up very well with a Venturing
leader's role. Tends to not take into account (locally at least) that older
youth need adults to stay out of the way and not do things for them.
I don't have a real good feel for what will happen when the new course comes
out. Looking forward to finding out though.

Subject: Further changes to Wood Badge?
