Your CE should be ashamed for making such a patronizing and ill-advised
statement.
I hope, as you progress in your career as a Scouter, you'll have the
opportunity to learn (as I have) from patient Scouting mentors, both male
and female, that "nurturing" and "examples" are not related to X and Y
chromosomes!
