Allow me to introduce myself.

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Marty Linn and I am the Cubmaster of Pack 1878. We are a small Pack chartered through Roth Elementary School in Spring, Texas. We are part of Polaris District in the Sam Houston Area Council.
I signed up as Assist. Den Leader in Oct.97 and without the help of training or roundtable (scheduling problems) became known for always having something fun for the boys to do at any time. In Aug.98 I was asked to be Assistant Cubmaster, started attending roundtable (haven't missed one since), had basic training, attended PowWow University of Scouting, and Webelo Leader Outdoor Training last week to learn more about the Webelos program. In Feb.99 the Cubmaster stepped down with the usual two week (6 hours) notice and I took over. I still enjoy my hour each week.
In the last year I have borrowed lots of ideas from various sites on the web, and many of them came from SCOUTS-L. I have learned a lot from all of you and want to thank you all for your help, your time and efforts are appreciated by many. I still have a lot to learn and I plan to sit back and continue to gain from your knowledge and experience for awhile.
