Vitriolic garbage

I didn't subscribe to this list to read someone's political agenda. The
purpose of this list is that of a perpetual campfire where we discuss
Scouting concerns of mutual interest.

As a counselor for all three citizenship badges,I am not aware that the
Second Amendment has been declared null and void. It will be up to the
Supreme Court to determine its applicability to modern life. My belief
is that the founding fathers probably never meant that the First
Amendment would protect the right of Palladin Press to publish "Hit Man"
or for states to ban creches withing 500 miles of a public building. The
Bill of Rights is a fairly radical document meant to preserve individual
rights at almost all costs and has been defended as such by the courts.

For the record, no state allows one under 21 to purchase hand guns,
controlled firearms or certain types of hand gun specific ammunition. In
addition, the federal government also bans such. Certain long guns and
ammunition may be purchased by those beteen the ages of 18 and 21. Under
no circumstances can firearms or ammunition be purchase by anyone under
the age of 18. My kids under the age of 18 own firearms; however, they
may not possess those firearms at any time without adult supervision -
big difference!!

Let's keep personal political beliefs out of this list!!
