Splicing

Can anyone direct me to splicing instructions for the eye splice, Short
splice and end splice that show the strands of the rope in color so that
you can follow the directions easier?
Also does anyone know where you buy 3 strand rope where each of the strands
are a different color? I have thought about making a 3/8 rope using
different colors but would prefer to buy it if I can.
