Just out of curiosity, why does scouting exclude atheists? I worked with a
few at summer camp who managed to "sneak into" scouts. However I can't
recall them ever crashing the daily vespers or verbally bashing those who did
worship. I did notice however that they were respectful of other
scouts/scouters beliefs, in some cases more respectful. So why is it that
they can't also be a part of the great outdoors experience and camaraderie
that the rest of us enjoy?
