Lorena and others, first off check out the Bicycling Belt loop pamplet -
the old one at least had quite a few good ideas on activities - plus the
boys got to earn a belt loop. Other resources might be a local bicycling
club and/or shop who might come and do part or all of your event for
you. And don't forget your local police; they often have a lot of
material and resouces available as well. As for marking the field, you
can use something as simple as flour or as complicated as paint (get the
kind that sprays upside-down) or caulk. I have used the bulk bottles
used to "reload" the carpenter's snap strings, just make sure your
careful - some colors don't wash out. Hope this Helps
