Not to pick on Jim, but I can pitch a pup tent, made with two shelter
halves, without a single center pole. And when do you think the last time
was that I used a pup tent? Boy Scouts was 40 years ago and U S Army was
over 30. (Does that give me TIS seniority on you, Jim?)
As with everything else, time marches on, and we learn as we go. I have
been passing all this new info on dishwashing to the SM of the troop I serve
because I know his boys use the 3-pan method. This learning experience is
one of the great reasons there are so many people on Scouts-L.
