AOL patch placement

List-ers,
One of our parents asked me where the AOL patch should be placed.
Relying on a somewhat feeble memory, I told them that as long as they
were Cub Scouts, it should be worn on the left pocket flap, but once
they cross over, it should be worn below the left pocket. I don't
remember where I "heard this", but could someone please let me know if
this is correct, and if not, the correct placement? Our ceremony is
tomorrow and I would like to prevent them from being sewn on the flap
and then moved the following week.
