laser pointers again

>From last nights paper (drastically shortened):
A police officer in a nearby town suffered an eye injury after being flashed
by a laser pointer. She was treated for abrasion to the surface of the eye.
She was wearing contact lenses which may have made it worse; she can't wear
them for a while.
