Thanks - BLUE CARDS & MERIT BADGES

Just wanted to say thanks to the list for all the info that has come in on
my questions concerning Blue Cards and Merit Badges.

I is very apparent that the next time I need to give more facts that I knew
but didn't think to givve in the beggining.

As we are in the middle of trying to new mail programs I will get response
back to everyone as soon as possible. We changed providers and were using
Eduora, with the new provider we were given Netscape Messenger and Internet
Mail E-mail programs to play with.

Anyway, Steven did fill out at least 2 blue cards and received those merit
badges, just never saw the blue cards again after filling them out and
turning over to the SM. She did not think the boys were responsible enough
to hold on to them.

As far as the incompletes go, our district store had a shortage of cards,
and so she had the boys working on badges, either as "troop activties" or
"summer camp", and was to take care of the cards as soon as they came in.
I do know that our very competant advancement chair turned the "advancement
sheet" to council.

I have contacted the office, and they are sending a printout, so that we
can verify what they have him down for, and we can take care of anything
missing -now- rather than later with the fancy MB cards.

As far as Steven not knowing for sure who is the MB Concilor, you would
have to know the SM to understand this problem. She -really really- has no
business being a SM, as her personal life doesn't come close to living by
the Scout Oath or Law, and her current livein (ASM) doesn't really make it
either.

Thanks for all the info,

Sharon
