FWIW
Ten years ago ,our district camporee attendees hardly new or cared what 3
pot sanitation was. After fielding some nasty sour belly complaints from
some boys parents we (commissioner staff) implemented a no nonsense , in
your face, safety and standards visit and made a game of 3 pot and other
scofflaw items like tour permits and leaders in uniform. When the scouts
found out it was a game they played the game better and we had healtjier
and safer scouting events.
go figure. I have collected data on this for over 9 years and the knowledge
curve is impressive.
Our 3 pot compliance alone went fro <20 percent to ove>95 percent.
Happy scouting
Scouting is too important to be left to professionals.
