I'd like to introduce myself to the members of the list, and ask a
question regarding policies for Cub Pack web pages.
My name is Kathleen Turner (no, not THAT one!), and I'm the Bear den
leader for Pack 352. We just started up about a year ago, and now have
about 35 kids in our pack. I've found a lot of the discussion on this
enormously helpful.
I'm working on a web page for our pack (hosted on Geocities -- I'l share
the URL when I've made a bit more progress. My question is regarding
the inclusion of pictures of scouts on our web site. I have no
intention of identifying them beyond first names, but am inclined to
give out a release form to parents before I post any pictures. Is there
an established protocol or policy about this?
We have some great digital pictures, and even a video clip from our
first Pinewood Derby that I'd love to put on the web!
