I have a contrary opinion, i used to feel the same way, that if everyone
was an eagle it would not mean as much. What it means to me is something
special, because of what it means and what i had to do. Every scout and
their mother could be eagles, and it would not take anything away from
what it means to me personally. It might change others views on the
badge, but as my old SM told me, it's not the badge that makes the Eagle,
but the man.
