Venturing out from lurking & Re: Strange patrol names

Greetings to all on the list! I've been avidly following the strands
and the pearls of wisdom over the last 6 months, and finally decided to
venture out with a post. I am the "silent" member of the current
threesome that is working the "Working With Scouts With disAbilities"
website. I highly encourage all to check out that site and support our
efforts to make Scouting truly "accessible" to all.
On the "strand note", my troop has had a few non-standard patrol names,
too:
Platinum Knights
Pyros
Outlaws
--- but the one that has been around the longest (even had two of them
at once) is Giardia...
