Patrick DID NOT SAY that this was the point of scouting...merely that it
could be a fringe benefit.

I am sick and tred of people bristling at the very MENTION of the word
military!!! Just who do you think won the rights and privledges you seem
to enjoy, yet take for granted with your constant harping and whining
about America having a military? I dont see the BSA as having ANYTHING
to do with the military, so why are some of you so constantly crying and
moaning whenever a mention of the military occurs. GET A LIFE...and
learn to be greatful for those who sacrificed so that even the pacifists
and communists, and atheists, and all others could live in a FREE
America.

The above will be see as a flame by many, but guess what...I DON"T CARE.
If what I said offends you, then in my opinion you deserve to be
offended.
