Scouts' favorite unexpected experience?

I've got one for you...
Many years ago, I was serving as a tour guide for some Cub Scouts who were
touring the Strategic Air Command's (SAC) Airborne Command Post (EC-135,
LOOKING GLASS) at Offutt AFB, in Bellevue, Nebraska.
After all of the Cubs had toured the aircraft, we were preparing to walk back
to the flightline entry point, when all of a sudden, three Cubs took off
chasing each other playing "tag". Well, during their play, they managed to
"cross the red line" into a restricted area where the "standby" Command Post
aircraft was sitting.
Withing 30 seconds, the Security Police (SPs) had all three boys face down,
and sprawled out, laying on the tarmac. The boys were crying, fearing they
were going to be in some serious trouble. The SPs allowed the boys up, and
proceeded to explain the need to follow directions given by their tour guide
(me) to stay together, and not to run around wildly.
I'm sure it made quite an impression on those boys...not one they are soon to
repeat.
