Hi All!

Just got an e-mail from the folks at WinScout (Sam Edwards, to be exact). My
recent post to the list concerning WinScout's readiness to interface with
ScoutNet 2000 got back to them and Sam asked that I forward the following
informaton on to all of you:

____________________Forwarded Message__________________________________

TroopMaster and PackMaster have already been modified to interface with
ScoutNET 2000. In fact, we have been going through BSA certification
testing for the past two months. We expect BSA to announce the results of
that testing at the end of this week or early next week.

WinScout did not make the original deadline (Aug 3) for certification
testing but I understand they are working on a modified version and will
apply for certification later.

Wev will release the new version, to be called TroopMaster 2000, in January.
It will interface with ScoutNET 2000 PLUS it will incorporate the upcoming
BSA advancement changes PLUS it will have over 100 user-suggested
improvements! The "Anouncements" page on our web site has a summary of the
planned changes and improvements.

_________________________End Forwarded Message____________________

If you are a registered user of WinScout, you will receive an upgrade notice
in January. )BTW, I have no financial interest in WinScout or TP Software)

YiS,
