Thanks guys. Yes, I am well aware of the uniform police. When I was an OA
Section Chief, probably at at National OA Conference, an adult in a food
line saw my District Award of Merit knot and insisted thjat I should be
wearing the Award of Merit knot.
Sure, it might have been unusual for a 20 year old to have the DAM, but he
didn't even understand that I wasn't even eligible for the Award of Merit
because I was on a Rescue Team. At any rate, he caused quite a scene in
front of 100 or so people, and it was quite embarrassing.
So, if you're out there, you're a bad, mean person! :)
