Scoutmaster Fundamentals book

Is the loose-leaf Scoutmaster Fundamentals book going to be
revised/replaced in the next year? I noticed a few copies in the Scout
Shop, and they did not know if it would change. Also, is this a
self-study course, or is it simply the basic syllabus for the 3-5 day
Adult leader Training session? The books were all shrink-wrapped, so I
couldn't browse through it to determine if I should add it to my
collection.
