I think I have just what you're looking for: it's a "stripe" about 1/4
inch wide that alternates black and white rectangles all the way around
the border. I've used it for our certificates for several years. I also
have a graphic of races cars on a zig-zag path coming toward the viewer
which I use as a watermark. I don't remember where they came from
originally, but I'm sure they're legal. (I was *very* trustworthy when
I began using them!). I've used them in WordPerfect 6.0 through 8 and
Word 97.
