It sounds like I'm REALLY advertising my website here; I'm sorry
if it bothers anyone out there but it seems to be that many of
the questions asked over the last couple of days can be resolved by

one or the other site!

Charles Batteau (<charles.r.batteau@BELLATLANTIC.COM>) writes
(with only some deletion for space):

>After 4 1/2 years of being the Scoutmaster of Troop 751, I've
>found it necessary to step down and turn the position over to
>someone who has more time available to do the job right.

>I would like to have a "change of leadership" ceremony at the
>first meeting in January, where I formally hand over the SM duties

>to the new SM.

Take a look at Leaders' Online. On the page with me at my mother's
old typewriter, wearing an old Southeast Region bolotie, is a
listing of the current topics there.

URL::http://users.aol.com/coffeeweb/LO/ is the address for LO.

Take a look at "New Scoutmaster Ceremony." I think this'll help
out!

Good luck, and THANK YOU for your work as Scoutmaster. It's always
a hard thing to leave that position; I know because I had to leave
the SM position three times due to military moves. Even after the
first two times, it doesn't get easier.

You'll have memories for life, Charles. Again, thank you for your
service!
