1. A few days ago I posted that our Scout Shop couldn't order the new
books until January. Well, yesterday I was in the Scout Shop and guess
what I bought? I didn't question the presence of 15-20 books, I just
bought one! I spent about 10 minutes working *very* carefully to get
it into the cover I've had on my old book, but it's safe now and I've
begun to read it. I especially like the color coding at the top of
each page.

2. My web site now has a news photo of Construction City with a short
story / long caption at http://home.earthlink.net/~mlfoley/ccity.html
We had about 450 Webelos and almost as many adults in attendance. In
addition to buildings, we had a bridge construction area where the
boys built 14-foot bridges and we applied a load to determine the best
weight-to-load ratio.
