This is not a new virus, it's an old joke. This message (and several
others like it) have been going around the Internet for years. It's a
hoax. There is no way to get a virus by opening a mail message! If a
message contains an attached executable which you download to your
computer and then execute, you could catch a virus; but reading mail is
safe. However, there is no record of any message such as you describe
actually containing a virus.
For more info, see: http://ciac.llnl.gov/ciac/CIACHoaxes.html
PLEASE DO NOT WASTE INTERNET BANDWIDTH BY REDISTRIBUTING ANY MESSAGE THAT
WANTS YOU TO SEND TO EVERBODY IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK! There is NEVER a
valid reason to do that.
