Re: Bad Advancement Dates on Eagle App -- What do I do?

Hi all,

LWe had a situation like this come up a year or so ago with a scout who's
time in a leadership position for Star was 4 days short of the 4 months
required (his Board of Review was held 4 days before it should have
been). LThis held up the scout's Eagle applicaiton for an addiltional 6
weks. I ended up writing a letter to National explaining the siltuation,
stating that this was in no way the fault of the scout's, but rather the
advancement chair, and that he had served more than the time necessary in
other positions, etc.

Anyway, although the application was approved six weeks later than it
would have been, it did get approved.

AS you can imagine, we take great care now to make sure that the
leadership position dates are precisely and exactly the time required at
least, if not more.

YiS,

Peter Farnham (and a good old Beaver, Too)
