Hmm,
Seems like we could take off in a whole new direction if we started
looking for the best parentage or heritage for being a scout leader.
Ancestry should have elements of groudhog, beaver, and eskimo.
He should have the patience of Job and the wisdom of Solomon with
the note that his IQ should be at least 20% below average to reflect
the lack of sense involved in agreeing to take on that one hour a
week job (and believing that was true!).
He needs to have an elephants thick hide with a fathers (mothers)soft heart.
Somehow he has to have a large inheritance so that he can cover all those
nickle and dime expenses that seem to occur outside the budget. Partial
deafness helps for being able to get some sleep on campouts and some loss
of vision so as to know when to turn a blind eye and let the scouts do the
job even though you know you can do it better.
Thats just for starters, what else do you all think should be a criteria?
